As someone who watches way too much HGTV, I can safely say that "I Thought It Would Be More Chartreuse" is actually the cliffhanger on about half of the home makeover shows.
HA! Some friends in London had one of those row houses with very close rooms, and they decided to pain the living room a deep royal red, and by the time they finished, it was so bloody and dark that it was like living in a nostril. They had to do it all over again....
